"A trust exercise? Are we trusting our own brains? Because if this is anything like the Labyrinth, there's nothing to trust. Someone's just pulling strings in the background making it impossible to solve."

She frowned. "The kitchen's pretty easy to find, but the food's not so good. And you have to cook most of it, and I'm not so good at that."

Sarah may not like her stepmother, but at least the woman could cook.

"Hydroponics? I think we studied that in biology last year... Just a little. We put seeds a bag with water and... I guess you already know what that is and don't need me to explain it." She was really very awkward with adults.
