"I could have done something. I could have protected them, prevented this."

Of course she says it, because it's what anyone wracked with guilt would say. She doesn't think about her parents as much as she had done in the early days, back when she'd first reacquired her Grace, but these days she can't get them out of her mind. Something to do with the constant appearances, probably.

Not that it'll do anything to fix it. No matter what she does she can't take their deaths back, and she can't make them any less angry about it. Justifiably so, of course, but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with.

"They've got every right. It's just- I'm tired, that's all. I need a breather. They won't come here though, they don't like angels."
