In honesty, he doesn't know that Kobra told her. But he's been back for a little while, and it's time to get out on the town. Sure, he wanted to be in the house, just be quiet for a little while. But he has friends here. Or a friend at least. Enemies too, sure. If Galen answers the door, he's going to be bummed. But a friend is good, is great. He misses a friend.
In fact, to bypass being bummed, he kind of just--breaks his way through the front door and goes straight for knocking on a friend's bedroom door directly. No use running circles around the point.
