The hug doesn't leave much of a physical impression, but nothing does. It's the thought that matters, and Tony's a strange little man with a strange collection of thoughts about the Hulk. Why can't all humans be like him? There are some others here who are nice, but they still have the fear in their eyes, most of them. Tony doesn't smell like fear.
Actually, the Hulk doesn't want to raise hell; that's all he's ever dragged out to do and that sounds negative. Stretch his legs, yeah, do something instead of just sitting around, and there's a restless energy coiling up inside him like a spring already. He's glad when Iron Man doesn't mention a fight. Really, the idea's kind of stupid.
"The biting cats?" They didn't do much more than annoy the Hulk to no end, but Tony's squishier. "You think they'll guard you?"
