The way Dean sees it, Crowley's landed himself a spot on Dean's schedule, and whatever he wanted to do with himself is going to have to be put on hold until Dean's through with him.
It's hard to tell if the trick's taking effect; it's not like he's going to sit down and ask Crowley to talk about his feelings. When Crowley looks at his beer, Dean sees something in his face, but he can't be sure what it is or what it's about.
