Meet the Roomie!

Who: Dilandau Albatou and Ruby
What: Dilandau took a chance to crash in an abandoned house. Unfortunately for him, the original owner is back and isn't as weak as her womanly belongings suggested
Where: House 15
When: The morning of day 64
Warnings: TBA

Dilandau had had few qualms about breaking an entering as the sun set on his first night. He had no intention about sleeping outside if he could secure a roof over his head, so he targeted the quietest house he could find.

From the looks of what he found inside, a woman had lived alone there recently, but wasn't at home. That had suited Dilandau fine, as a woman would be easier to intimidate into acquiescence.

He'd expected her back before the end of the next day, but when she hadn't appeared he'd taken the liberty of helping himself to the contents of her room. Her pillows were now his, as was the mirror and some bathroom products to help him deal with the beard he'd never been able to grow before. The kitchen cupboards had been ransacked for meals and he'd helped himself to the disgusting but effective alcohol in one of the baths.

The second dawn rose to find Dilandau sitting on his bed, lost in thought. His armoured jacket was disassembled across the floor so he could thoroughly clean it and his boots were waiting to be polished, but he was completely distracted by the diadem in his hands.

This wasn't his. It was a close copy, but there were subtle differences. The jewel in the centre was slightly narrower than it should have been and the gold band extended a fraction further past his ears. Somewhere in those missing months when his hair had grown out someone had replaced his most prized possessions.

He was so lost in thought that he'd let his normal awareness of his surroundings slip completely.

Finally human again, Ruby found her way wearily back to her house. She should contact Wallie and see how he is, but first she wants to rest. That transformation happening so soon after the full moon left her wrecked and exhausted, but she could tell that she was righted again. Her voice was normal and she could smell and hear in ways that only a wolf could.

When she entered, there were signs that someone had been there. Wallie, maybe? One of the others?

"Hello?" Maybe Gwydion had come by to check on what she'd been cooking in the smaller of the two bathrooms. "Anyone here?"

She wasn't stupid, though. There were a few people here she didn't trust and more than a few things this place could throw at her. She grabbed a steak knife from the kitchen before proceeding into the hallway.
