Waking up with only one heart again had been a terrifying experience. Sure, she'd spent thirty-five long years functioning with one heart and less than a week with two, but suddenly going back to just one had been scary. She thought she was going to suffocate at first.

She's quickly readjusted to her own single heart though. And she definitely didn't miss the smack in the face of possible timelines every time she looked at someone.
