He was joking. Mostly. He really wouldn't mind waking up to coffee for a few days, at least. He missed waking up to the smell. His last girlfriend used to wake up just a little earlier to shower first and she'd always have coffee brewing by the time he was out of the shower himself. It had been comfortable and pleasant. It had at least somewhat balanced out the fact that he didn't sleep all that well with another person in the room.
