Ellen lets Bill get ahead of them. She knows how this dream plays out. Bill gets scratched up pretty bad, she ends up with a dislocated shoulder and cracked ribs. It's the way this always ends.

"I don't know how the hell you got in here, but I'm going to get you out." Ellen mutters. She knows that her posture is probably threatening, but her dreams are the only place she still has Bill and she guards them jealously.
