Charlie kept his promise and didn't go over to Ned's house right away. He did what Meyer said, waited until tempers had cooled a little. All the same, that fear and anger is still twisting in his gut and consequently the smile on Charlie's face as he knocks on the door is airing more on the side of predatory than friendly.
