That rebuke, like something said to a child, galls his pride. He squares his shoulders and glares down at her hotly.

"Do you think I'm idiot? Do you think I don't know where the food in my belly comes from?"

Not that it isn't tempting to burn it all down, because it is. But Loki and Castiel have made it clear what the consequences will be if he gives into his desire, so he controls himself, for now. However, they're gods and she's just an irritating bitch. She's got no place telling him what he can and can't do.

"I know how to build campfires and I know how to keep them under control. Don't treat me like a toddler."
