Brigid puts it off as long as she can. But she can't find Derek, and her leg is throbbing. She really hopes his beta knows how to do it too.

Plus, she's lonely. She's never been laid up this long before and Brigid hates it.

Using the makeshift cane that she has, she hobbles toward Isaac's room, and bites her lip before tapping on the door. "Isaac? It's Brigid. Can I... Can I come in?"

"Yeah, sure. Come in!"

He's laying on his bed on his stomach, flipping through a book and poking around at the wrist communicator. He's trying to act like he's not worried about the fact that he hasn't seen Derek, and that he's not sulking, so he invites her in with the easiest smile he can manage.

They haven't talked that much, but he likes her. She seems like a nice girl; she's definitely pretty, anyway.

Brigid limps in, scuffing her feet along, because that leg still hurts. Something that bothers her because Derek isn't around. She swallows because Isaac isn't one that she's spent a lot of time with, especially while she's been healing.

Tucking a bit of hair behind her ear, Brigid takes a deep breath. "I was... I don't know if you were ever taught? But my leg really hurts, and I can't find Derek." She doesn't want to bother him but it would be nice to just rest for a little while.

"I'm not... if I'm interrupting, I can go." Being Omega is so different to being in a pack. In a pack she'd know she's welcome, but being on the outskirts... she's just not sure.
