There is a point in what Raphael says, of course, but Samandriel doesn't find himself particularly comforted by that. If anything, it only aids his concern that one or a few of them will end up injured or killed while down here and so utterly powerless to any assault. Thus, he can't find it in himself to reply beyond a curt nod.

He trails off for a moment, considering holding his tongue because all this pessimism and worry is hardly the way angels are supposed to behave. He should be holding it more to himself, or entirely to himself, but this has ultimately become more difficult. Crowley had effectively broken him, after all, and all Samandriel seems to find down here in the tunnels are reminders of that. "...I just don't know if that's enough."
