Breakfast in Bed (for Donna, backdated).
Who: Balthazar and Donna
When: Backdated to before the hellhound invasion.
Where: Donna's room.
What: Fluff and cuddles.
Warnings: Possibly sexy fluff and cuddles. /eyebrow waggle
He's hardly known as the most responsible of angels, but let it never be said Balthazar neglects his promises to have fun. Bright and early on the morning promised, he's up and in the kitchen, brewing coffee with cinnamon and throwing together a few pancakes. Donna claimed she didn't want much in the way of food, but he feels obliged. Maybe it's force of habit from tending his garden, before.
In any case, when he knocks on her door, he has a cup in one hand and a plate in the other, the latter stacked with pancakes in a puddle of blueberries and syrup. "Are you up yet, love?" He calls cheerfully, even though he could just as easily fly past the closed door.

Gorgeous angel. Amazing food. This is probably the best morning Donna's had in this place!
"Thank you. For all this, I mean. It's lovely."
no subject
Chocolate chip omelet doesn't sound good.
"And you're welcome. Sometimes I think you need someone around to convince you how lovely you are."
no subject
Donna leans into Balthazar more. She could definitely get used to the closeness, even without the breakfast.
"Oh, I'm nothing special. Not really."
no subject
Her hair smells nice, and he gives her a light nuzzle. "But I think you are. One doesn't have to be a genius or possess magical abilities to be special, or lovely."
no subject
"Has anyone ever told you that you're a sweetheart?" She smiles, tiling her head to steal a light kiss.
no subject
He returns the kiss gently, lips tasting of maple syrup and sweet coffee. "No, actually. You're the first."
no subject
"So, in all the years you've existed no one has ever told you what a sweetheart you are? You must've been sticking with the wrong crowds. Either that, or all the other angels are rubbish at noticing these things."
Donna cards her fingers through his hair, peppering his lips with soft kisses.
no subject
"Angels don't value things like that much, I'm afraid. Not the ones that stay in Heaven." His eyes drift shut with enjoyment, head tilting into the touch. "You do know I do bad things too, right? Just...wouldn't want to trick you..."
He trails off with a soft noise between a sigh and a moan, pressing into the kiss more firmly.
no subject
"None of us are perfect. Where's the fun in that? We've all done bad things." Hey, he's the guy to unsunk and resunk the Titanic and shes the girl who blew up Pompeii, how are they not perfect for each other?
no subject
Gently, he plucks the plate from her hand and sets it on the nightstand. "Are you ready to do some more bad things now?"
no subject
"Bad things? Hm. I believe I may be persuaded to do some bad things..."
no subject
The fingers of one hand tangle gently in the hair at the back of her neck, stroking rather than pulling, as he leans in for another kiss.
no subject
"It can be our little secret." As long as they don't actually have to keep it secret, because there are people she needs to tell.
She meets him half-way for the kiss. Yep, she can definitely get used to this.
no subject
...although, if he knew there were people she'd need to tell after the fact, he might have some mild performance anxiety.

Donna hums into the kiss, her tongue dancing with his, seeking dominance over the kiss. After a moment, she breaks it enough to draw his bottom lip between her teeth.
