The Return
Who: the Doctor, open
Where: the edge of the woods, by the ocean side. Southwest of the island
When: Day 34
What: The Doctor returns, and is surprised to find himself in a somewhat familiar location.
At first there were echoes of crashing waves in the distance, growing louder and more distinct when the Doctor finally opens his eyes. Odd... I don't remember landing-- He startles, sitting up only to feel something on his wrist and he quickly recognizes the communicator.
"I've been here before." But he didn't remember how he had left or how he had returned. Nor did he remember any events up to this point, as if his memory had been tampered. Resting his elbows on his knees, he sat there looking around before running hands through his hair.
After a while, he taps on the communicator, sending out a video to the network, "Hi! Hello! Anyone out there?"

Looking away, he glances around, "Erm, I don't quite remember this area. My memory is a bit fuzzy.... on alot of things, actually."

Look, Mom. Something even Sharon can do.

Points for some memories? "I feel like there's something on the tip of my tongue, but..." He ruffles his hair and shrugs, "Dunno, that's about it."

"Anything about people in lab coats?"
no subject
"No." He shakes his head, confused and intrigued. "What have I missed?"

"A box appeared at the fountain containing a Norse deity who had evidently been tortured and, when free, thought he was at Ragnarok and set about destroying as much as he could. They stopped refilling our food supplies; I had the food that was left moved for safekeeping and rationing, but Edgar Stane, our new self-appointed mayor, stole all the reserves. We also tried escaping. It didn't go well."
Because Sharon had screwed up. She'll admit it if she has to, but if it's all the same to the Doctor, she'd rather not.
"What about you? Did you go back to your home universe at all?"

The island seemed small, at least to his guesstimation, as he hadn't had a chance to really map it out, so for such a small radius, things have been quite unpredictable. Although, thinking about it even further, it was like Lord of the Flies. Stick this many people together and to expect them to cooperate was a bit silly.
"I..." He started, and a rush of remembering the bus trip, UNIT, and the prophecy, "...don't know." Because it had happened before he came here, hadn't it? Now he wasn't so sure about anything right now.
So much for a happy reunion.

"They kidnapped Dr. Banner. He escaped as the Hulk and unfortunately went on something of a rampage. Your timing is horrible, Doctor. You missed everything."

With that being said, he started walking towards town, "I'm here now, that's what matters, yeah?" He glances back towards Sharon, "I can be of use now, just give me... time." How ironic and he pauses at that and laughs a bit, "No TARDIS, so it looks like I'm here for a while until I figure out how to escape again."
no subject
"Maybe you can take the rest of us with you next time." She rests her hands on her hips, keeping her thoughts to herself. As far as she can tell, he didn't escape. They took him and brought him back later, but he hadn't escaped. Their captor had been in control the entire time.
"Not everyone has returned with their memories, so you're already ahead of the pack. Do you remember Dr. Banner or someone named Sherlock Holmes?"
no subject
"I don't remember anything, I'm afraid." And on that note, he shrugged and offered a small smile, "We'll figure it out."

"If I do move in, I don't typically have a normal sleep-wake schedule as you." Funny, that was the first time he's ever warned someone, he was so used to the TARDIS and it's expansive environment, that it didn't matter.
