Ghoul's bones are correct. It doesn't take Conrad long to get to the fountain; maybe it's the smell of cigarette smoke - something familiar - that lures him that way without him realizing it, or maybe it's the natural build of the town. Whatever it is, Conrad is heading that way, and though the smell of smoke is stronger, he's distracted by peering at the statue in the middle of the fountain. What the hell is that? His sculpture senses are tingling.
