what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Who: The Hulk and you, IF YOU DARE
What: The rampaging Hulk is... you know, rampaging. Feel free to treat this as an open post kind of thing. Team up to battle him if you want, or come in to help rescue someone.
When: Day 50 (from here)
Where: Starting in the town, moving back out into the park (feel free to assume you're pursuing him out there from the town), then he flees into the woods.

There aren't a lot of conscious thoughts in the Hulk's mind right now. The only thing he's sure of is rage -- pure and unadulterated, it flows through him and feeds his strength, feeds his energy, but it's like poison, too. The regular Hulk, the calm one, would prefer rationality over this, but he doesn't have a choice. He doesn't get a choice like Banner, or like any of these other humans. He gets someone pushing Banner's buttons until the Hulk tumbles out mindless and angry and unable to turn it off.

So he'll rage, and he'll smash and destroy until he can bleed the anger out.

"I said stop!" He moves forward, making sure to watch his ground as he moved closer to the Hulk.

"Don't be selfish, think of the others! You'd have to help us too. Now come off this rampage of yours, yeah? I don't believe we've met; I'm the Doctor, and I can help you." He foolishly changes his gaze to the fountain and the water pouring out of it as he crept closer to the Hulk.

He barely manages to dodge that and he stands his ground, "Oh, right! Throwing stuff, like that's going to help." He rolls his eyes, before looking up with determination and strong will.

"I'm defenseless, y'know. I have nothing that's going to harm you." He holds up his hands, "Now tell me what's going on!"

A frown, obviously this creature wasn't capable of concrete thoughts. "Hulk? Is that your name?" His brows furrowed a bit trying to get a good look at the massive green giant.

"You look a bit familiar..." He slowly walks around, unsure if he was going to be threatened or worse. "Look, all this anger and destroying stuff isn't going to make anything better. Now stop it."

If the Doctor wasn't careful, the Hulk would most likely react violently, but for some reason he doesn't stop. Perhaps making him dizzy would help things, confusing him, making him sit.

This logic was going to either succeed or fail miserably, and the Doctor just hoped he would be quick enough to dodge him as he was able to with the fountain piece just a moment ago. "Not until you try and give me some answers!"

The Doctor saw it coming, he did, but the Hulk was moving at such a momentum, that it necessarily didn't matter how much the Doctor tried to get out of the way. The bench connected with him, causing him to go careening into the shrubbery, breaking his fall. And then the pain came, as if delayed.

"S-shit...." He muttered, reaching up to touch his face. His vision was doubled sightly and he tried to see if he was going to have to prepare himself for another attack.

Message sent and received. The Doctor was completely knocked out this time; he didn't even know where he was when he finally opened his eyes. He lied there on the ground, just focusing on breathing as he mentally checked himself... fingers and toes wiggled, that's always a positive, two hearts still pumping, lungs still breathing.

He rolled onto his stomach and nearly made himself sick. Yup, definitely a broken rib... maybe two. His head was also spinning and throbbing, but after another few moments of lying there, he knew he had to get up. "Alright big guy, you win." He spoke hoarsely to himself.
