can't seem to find our state of grace
Who: Balthazar and OPEN
What: Exploring and chatting.
When: Day 54
Where: All over the place, but eventually the bar and House 11. Encounter him anywhere you like.
Warnings: Probably none, will update if that changes.
Balthazar's not sure whether to be optimistic about this brave new world or not. There's no question but that certain individuals here are a threat. Raphael and Lucifer? Scary. Whatever's got them all trapped here? Also scary. At the moment, though, the weather is fairly pleasant, there's no looming apocalypse, planned or otherwise, and even the demons here seem to be, if not civil, at least tolerable.
Probably the other shoe will drop before long, but until then he's going to try to enjoy himself.
Hence the search for the bar he hears is around somewhere. He circles through streets, looking over houses, buildings, and...hmm. Rubble. That's a little worrisome. But not too far off he finds what he was looking for, and slips curiously through the doors.

"I haven't spoken to her, but a friend of mine implied I got too snarky with her at some point. And said something about medical equipment. I'm not sure if that's intriguing or alarming."

"Do you mind if I ask where you're staying? I'm at number 11. It's good to have contacts in a strange place."

"I'm in twenty. At least, that's what it says above the door. It's a pretty big place." She'd been surprised at how many people were in just the one house with her.

"Twenty? All right, I'll remember that. I'm living with Anna and...Loki. I'm not sure how territorial the latter is, but I'd knock if you come to visit."

"I don't believe I've met either of them. I'm with Galen, Kenzi, Jesse, Clint, and Ned. Well, not with them, but they're in the house with me. They all seem nice enough."

Shrug. "In your exploring, have you seen much of the woods?"
no subject
"I was out there for a bit, but I ran into someone who told me about some of the things that ran around in there, so I thought I should wait until I hadn't just woken up here to give it a more thorough going over. Have you?"
no subject
"No, I haven't, but I heard food supplies were limited, and I thought perhaps foraging for nuts and plants might be wise." He doesn't actually have to eat, himself, but being too cavalier about that might give his game away.

Huh. There's another question. Where does the garbage go? Is there a landfill or does some mysterious force remove it? He looks at one of the cameras pointedly, flicks the edge of the bottle, and dumps it in a box behind the bar.
Returning to Riley, he sits sideways in his chair, feeling a bit mellower for having had a beer. "I'd like to see the sea monster, too, actually, just not up close and personal."

"But watching lightning hit the water is beautiful."
