Angel and friends vs. Pleistocene creatures
Who: Castiel and OPEN
Where: The park/picnic area
When: Day 7 in the evening
What: Castiel and anyone else who is around notices the animals beginning to encroach on the town. (Observing and fighting are both options.)
Warnings: -
Castiel had perched himself at the edge of the small gazebo in the park. Since waking, this had been the place he frequented most, even more than the house that Sam and Dean lived in.
He'd felt a shift in the air as he sat there, though. He'd noticed a surprisingly large number of animals coming closer to the town just before he'd seen them. There was something off about them, though, and he hadn't realized what it was until the first one came into view. He was unsure of how to even react. Dire wolves hadn't roamed the Earth for a while, even by his standards.
He pushed himself up to stand stiffly and began to walk to the edge of the gazebo. After Purgatory, he had a hard time viewing normal animals as a threat, even extinct ones. He had a feeling that Dean would feel the same way. Still, his blade appeared in his hand reflexively. He wasn't the only person in the area and he wouldn't let anyone else come to harm, though he hoped that the animals wouldn't attempt to harm any of the people here.

"My name is Castiel." Even if he was obviously not human, he intended to keep what he was at least somewhat quiet until he was sure that the Leviathan weren't here.

Introductions were all very well and good, but there were more pressing concerns. Large prehistoric predators were a worrying thing. "I'm not familiar with the behaviour of large predators, Castiel. There are no such animals on Aurora. How likely is it that they will attack humans?"
And that was really what he was concerned about, above everything else.

"I suppose it will depend on how hungry they are. I don't see any other food for them here." It was certainly troubling. Castiel supposed he could start killing them, but how many more were out there?
"So... likely."

Troubling. It was very troubling, and Daneel wasn't sure how to deal with it. He'd never killed an animal. He'd never had even the slightest reason to. Technically there was nothing in his programming that prevented him from doing that, but he found he didn't like the idea anyway. If it came down to the life of a wolf versus the life of a human being, that was one thing. He didn't like the idea of going out and killing these creatures to prevent harm that might never happen. They were not human, and it shouldn't be hard to justify that, but then Castiel wasn't human either.
This was difficult.
"What do you propose we do?"
