Operation: FREAK OUT

Who: The Doctor, Sharon Carter
Where: Their house
When: morning of day 58
What: The Doctor needs to confirm that something isn't right.
Warning: Sharon is apparently a succubus, so sexual innuendo

It was extremely early in the morning when the Doctor's eyes blinked open. That itself was strange - he didn't remember falling asleep as he sat up on the couch. Scrubbing at his face, his brows furrow and he looks around. What time is it?

Nothing looked out of place, and it was so very strangely quiet... Wait, why was everything quiet and why didn't he know what time it was?

And then the panic set in and his hands went to his chest, "One heart. Why do I have only one heart!?" He stands up so fast and nearly topples over, "Oh... tachycardia! That's not..." And then it hit him - WAS HE HUMAN!?

"S-Sharon!?" Maybe they were attacked? Maybe she knew something he didn't? How long had he been out?

He raced up the stairs and without even knocking on her door, barged right in, "W-What's going on!? Were we attacked?" A swallow, "I think I'm human!"

Her breath catches when he looks up, and she's in the middle of kissing him before she's even aware she's begun. She pushes him back onto the bed, shoving her fingers into his hair, her other hand keeping him pressed against his chest to keep him down.

There it is, a taste of something sweet and exotic. She doesn't just find it in his kiss, it's in him, in his very core, and she's never been hungrier for anything in her life. She wants that core. She doesn't care if she has to leave him as a decayed husk on her bed, she wants him, wants that essence, wants-

She pulls back with a gasp and staggers away from him. No. No. This is her friend, one of the few she has here. She can't kill him. She refuses to kill him.

She's also afraid she can't stop herself if she looks at him again. She keeps her eyes on the floor and points at the door with a shaking hand, each breath she takes so deep that it burns.

"Think I changed after all. You need to go."

And she needs to lock that door behind him and not let herself out.
