( open ) buckshot is my bread
WHO: Booker DeWitt and YOU!
WHAT: Exploring, scouting, foraging for supplies, eating out of trashcans
WHEN: Day 71
WHERE: Everywhere!
NOTES: Prose or action spam is fine with me!
They find a place, and Booker washes up. Until he gets a good look in the mirror, it doesn't occur to him just what a goddamn mess he is; he's spattered with blood, sweat and gunpowder from the last several endless hours, and his hand still hurts like a bitch, but he doesn't bother checking that just yet. He has more important things to deal with than seeing what that stab wound must look like now.
Booker only devotes a few minutes to washing the grime off, and then he's back out into the town. Leaving Elizabeth alone is harder than anticipated, but he tells her to stay put while he looks around. It shouldn't take that long; he can see where the ocean and the forest seem to border the small cape, and for once, he's not too keen on venturing into the wild, particularly not without Elizabeth. This here is just reconnaissance.
He checks out the center of town, the general store, the strange crater where a building used to be. Booker takes his time, alert - hell, he's not sure if he can remember how not to be on alert, after this crazy day - , and investigates whatever he thinks might help, including the cameras.
At this point, any clue on how to get out of here is a good one.
