Breaking Down the Barrier

What: Please review this OOC post. How the Doctor loses friends and alienate people. Or he learns he isn't a god and nearly causes everything to explode.

The meeting hadn't quite gone exactly as the Doctor had planned, the comments from Donna especially disheartened him. However, none of that stopped his drive to get everyone out of Kore. Sharon was back, but he hadn't even said more than a couple sentences to her, as he fixed the last adjustments to his generator.

He and Jubilee had been working tirelessly the day after the meeting and she finally had to excuse herself from him for sleep. Right, humans needed sleep, didn't they? The Doctor couldn't remember the last time he had, which probably wasn't a good thing. But it didn't matter, given in an hour or two he'll be back in that sexy blue box of a TARDIS far, far away from here.

The last hour had been spent with him at the kitchen table staring at the generator, trying to possibly think if there were any last few adjustments. Finally jumping up to his feet, he hugged the generator close to him, hoisting it up and leaving the house. Managing to activate his wristwatch, opening the comm, he spoke up, "Hello! Doctor here... It's time to go home!"

Just west of house 19, there was a small open area, perfect for this. He glanced back towards the woods, briefly wondering how Dilandau was doing with the distraction plan before crouching down and setting up the generator. It was time.

He rapidly steps back,trying to establish enough room again to use his sword, even though the weapon is useless.

"Do you think they're going to let us live when they'e done with us?! A few stragglers dead would be worth the rest of us escaping!"

Castiel pauses for a moment, taking in the new information that Raphael gave him. Balthazar is hurt.

He can feel his own anger growing as he follows after Dilandau. "I think you're a coward and you don't care about anyone living or dying as long as you get out."

When it looks like he can, he makes a grab for Dilandau's hair.

He shrieks out of rage and humiliation that Castiel's able to overwhelm him so easilyand lashes out, digging uselessly at Castiel's wrists in an attempt to make him let go. He twists and he kicks, desperate to get out of this without ripping out his own hair.

Castiel shoves him, pulling sharply and then letting go in an attempt to throw Dilandau to the ground.

"I'll be watching you, little man. If you do anything to hurt one of my friends again, you'll get more than a warning." He aims a sharp kick at Dilandau's shin.

Dilandau lands badly, shocked by the strength of the angel. He hardly realises the kick is coming until it lands, splitting his lip. His head snaps back and he spits blood.

Castiel kicks him again before bending to grab him by his clothes and jerk him up just enough to loom over his form, putting his face close to Dilandau's. "Can I have faith in you that you've learned your lesson?"

"I've learnt it!" He screams it out, bu thrashes in Castiel's grip still, despite the blooming pain and the fact that submitting completely might appease the angel further. He's never known how to stop when trapped.

Castiel drops him to the ground, but it's more a toss than a simple drop.

"Good."

And then he disappears.

Dilandau immediately curls up in the dirt, clutching at his face and body until the spasming panic from the attack ebbs away and he realises that he's lying on the ground in public. He levers himself to his feet, gasping at the various pains, and hobbles to the nearest shelter.
