He was glad, despite how he tried to cover it up. Not because he was bringing Raphael around to the dark side, but just because he'd missed that smile. Raphael may not have been as exuberant as Gabriel or even Lucifer tended to be, but all the same he'd been happy, and Gabriel was worried that that might be a thing of the past. It was good to know that it wasn't.
