The thing is, she's been kind of preoccupied. There was the date (was it a date? Can she call it a date? It kind of seemed like a date) and that had been...well, kind of the best thing that's happened since landing in this godawful town. It's hard to justify developing feelings in a place like this, and god knows she'll likely not talk about it properly, but it was...
Well, it was damn near perfect.
Then Castiel returned though, and it had taken even more of her focus. It's hard to think about anything else when your brother lands leaking Grace, disappears for an hour only to break that news when he finally does reply. It's kind of taken her by shock, so when she returns to the house it's not nearly as good a mood as she left. Actually it's kind of completely the opposite.
She's barely in the kitchen for five minutes when it all hits her, and there's a lot that Anna can cope with, but not this. Not her brothers and sisters tossed out of Heaven like they were nothing. She chose. They didn't. And what was she doing, while Castiel had to watch their sibling's wings burn? She was...on a date. A date, while her family Fell.
So if there's the loud clatter of something knocked off the table, well it's just because she has to get these stupid braids out now, because she was here trying to impress a guy while her family was thrown out of its home, and she's so angry about it all that her hands are shaking too much to actually do anything at all.
