Who: Brigid and... everyone.
Where: Everywhere
When: Day 82-84
What: The Full Moon is coming and Brigid is losing her grip. Going Omega is no fun.
Warnings: Possibly swearing, definite blood and attacks. Also, discussion of mental health.
OOC: This is a catch all log, since we had a lot of people who wanted to do things. I'm going to put up a few big headers, and then it'll be a free for all.
If you have any questions, please, feel free to ask.

Riley's on the cusp of turning fully herself, though which form is up for grabs. She's trying to keep herself from doing it, not wanting to give the audience they have more of a show than they're already getting, but the pain from the bite is putting her in a defensive state of mind, which is quickly changing to aggressive.

Brigid's tussling with the wolves, and learning Krav Maga has gone out the window. She just wants to hurt now. Her claws catch in Riley's shirt, using it to drag her closer and try to punch her again.

Fur will be a better barrier against claws and fangs than thin fabric and maybe, just maybe, the sight of a hybrid feline/human will snap her out of whatever rage she's fallen into.
So within a handful of moments, Brigid is no longer fighting an eighteen year old girl. She's now up close and personal with a much larger and fiercer looking monstrosity that lets out another roar, teeth bared as she pushes Brigied away and moves to brace herself on all fours, tail lashing behind her. She's chosen the hybrid form so that she can talk if she needs to. She's not sure that will be an option here.

The roar gets one echoed back at her. Brigid isn't the shy, retiring, sweet girl that everyone has come to know. Now, she's a werewolf defending territory.
Her claws dig into the soft ground under her. She almost lunges forward, but just circles, going for that tail.

Later on, he'll be tempted to make 'catfight' jokes, but when he hears Raphael call, he's all concern. He touches down in the woods a second or two after the archangel. "What's going on?"

When she shakes her head to clear it and pushes up to her feet, she's greeted by a familiar face and a not so familiar face. She gives a huffed growl, mostly for show, but her tail is still lashing angrily behind her.
"Ask her," she snarls, pointing with a clawed finger in the direction she'd seen the head of red hair fly.

Her fangs don't disappear, but she pulls some of her claws back in. Her eyes fade into blue at the edges, the brown shining through.
Brigid pushes herself to her feet, and says nothing, just standing there. Her head cocks to the side, hearing the angels speaking. They haven't said anything to her, directly.
She might need to meditate a bit more than she has been.

He understood Brigid was protective and respectful, and that she felt Riley was disrespectful. He understood Riley felt that Brigid was out of line. But why it had escalated into this, he didn't know. Nor was he placing why Riley seemed familiar.
"I'd ask if either of the young ladies present would like to explain but it seems the answer is 'no'." His tone is mildly scolding, and more than a little worn - like a sitter just entirely done with shenanigans.

"Well...look, hurting one another is just going to end in a pain in the arse for the whole Cape. I call an official cease-fire, for starters. Is anyone actually hurt beyond bruised dignity?"
no subject
"She's the one with her panties in a bunch." The words are rumbled but legible as she looks over at Brigid.

Her claws flex, but she still says nothing. Her few scrapes and bruises will be gone in a couple hours. She isn't worried about it.
Her eyes flick to Raphael, but she still watches the feline bitch touching the angel. St. Raphael's scolding brings a flicker of unease to her stance. He's an archangel and there is something to be feared there. She knows that.

He glances at Raphael, as if checking whether he has any insight into this little spat.

"Her disrespect is... grating." Not a lie. Not the whole truth, but not a lie. She doesn't know what the whole truth is right now. "And the full moon is near." Another piece to the puzzle that she hasn't put together yet. She's worried about the full moon with an Alpha around. She wants one, but at the same time... he isn't hers.
It's all she has, though, all she can say, right now.

"And your respect is endearing, but you needn't fight our battles for us. Calm down." To Brigid, he's calmer, steady. Unyielding but not angry.

He licks his lips and says slowly, "I wouldn't think baring your throat would be necessary, but surely there's something in between the two extremes?"
Looking down at Riley, he gives her a weak smile. "It doesn't matter who was in the right or wrong. The important thing is that no one's been damaged, and we want to keep it that way. Can the two of you let this quarrel go?"
no subject
"You tell me. One minute we were talking and the next she went all feral. Not like I could have turned and left. So, if she wanted a fight, I was going to give her one. Better me than someone who might not heal from it."

Riley is hitting everything where it agitates. It's like porcupine quills under the skin- not an experience she likes to remember.
She ducks her head, knowing that something isn't right, that something is wrong and that she shouldn't be around humans until she figures it out.
"May I go, St. Raphael?" He's the biggest dog here, the one who can tell her what to do. But, she won't go without permission. Her control right now is tenuous, wrapped in hard-won rigidity that she learned at a much younger age.
no subject
"Being as the fight is over now, there's no reason to continue it."
He raised a brow slightly towards Brigid. "You may go - but if you can't hold your temper, give the humans here a wide berth."
no subject
Figuratively, he means.
Looking at Riley, he adds, "Were you hunting or just walking? I'll come with, if you'd like the company." Assuming Raphael lets him slink away from this. He's got his wings crossed.
no subject
"I was coming back from a run, but I wouldn't mind the company if you don't mind a furry walking companion who'll have to be a naked one when we get closer to town." She has no fear of repercussions in terms of Raphael, not having grown up religious. To her, he's just a guy giving her an evil look who Brigid happens to be a little afraid of. She mentally sticks her tongue out at him, just because.
no subject
She wonders what is wrong, but that's a worry for another time.
no subject
"I'll keep an eye on her for a bit. If you run into each other on your way back in, Balthazar, I trust you to keep them separated." A politely phrased order.
