"No, I don't." The Doctor's eyes narrow, as his mouth remains open - clearly his 'lost in thought' look.

"I've been to a similar place before, Midnight. Diamond-based geology, sapphire waterfalls, but you couldn't see any of it with the naked eye. You'd go blind. But this is different... Perhaps still in the Xion star system, but I'd have to have the TARDIS to look that up."

He watches as more people quickly pass, "I wonder why we're seeing this place."

[venatical]

"Got me. I think I was trying to get back here tonight, but I know this isn't the first time I've been, and I know other people have come here too. And if it's no one's dream, then how'd it get here? So far I haven't hopped into anyone's dream without knowing whose it was eventually."

He tries to approach one of the figures, but they move past him and he's left watching them, then turning around again to see if he can see anything else here -- anything at all -- but it's all the same.

"Do you think this is something we're supposed to see, or do you think it's something that slipped in through the cracks?"

There's an inhale as the Doctor rubs his nose and finally looks back over to Dean, "Knowing this place, Cape Kore, I think it's something they want us to see. They being those bloody scientists. I don't dream, not normally, so this is more than 'slipping through the cracks' in my book."

He vaguely wondered if he thought hard enough, he could make the TARDIS appear, and he wished he could, but it really wouldn't make a difference. The Doctor was growing really tired really fast of these games.

"Yeah. There's a lot of that going around, actually," he says thoughtfully, thinking about Cas and the other angels.

"Well, they sure don't make it easy for us to figure out what the hell this is supposed to mean."
