waves crash along the battered, lonely lighthouse
Who: Allison Argent and Lydia Martin
What: New arrivals run around being new together
When: Day 101; late afternoon / Day 102; morning
Where: Near house 17
Warnings: [ muffled reunion music playing in the distance ]
Without a better option presenting itself, Allison stays in the assigned house without any real fuss. She actually doesn't mind the woman there with her. She knows how to protect herself, seems to have no qualms about doing so, and she seems to embrace the potential supernatural qualities to this whole kidnapping with ease. Kind of like everything Allison had thought Kate was, until that big reveal.
She can't stay in there though. it's a strange place and Allison is going a little stir crazy already, so she pulls her dagger out of her drawer and settles it in her hand comfortably before slipping out of her room and leaving the house. She doesn't exactly have a direction in mind, and once she gets outside she looks around a little. At first, she's drawn to the woods. They're familiar, in a way. Not the same woods, of course, but it's still something she knows more about. She changes her mind at the last minute though, turns her head and moves towards the large body of water instead. It's not exactly familiar territory, but it could be a way out at least.
Conveniently enough her brisk walk takes her past a few houses along the way, and Allison is kind of amazed to see that there is a genuine set up here for all of them. There are houses - furnished houses with pipes and water and food (not a lot, but there's still food) - and the sheer level of planning that must have gone into this place just makes her stomach drop slightly. Still, no time for that kind of distress now. She just grits her teeth, sets her jaw and pushes on, albeit a little more tension in her body.
Best be paying attention Lydia, because one (1) Allison Argent is making her way through the backyard of house seventeen right now.

and iiiiii will always looove youuuu
And she sees her. Allison.
At first Lydia wonders if she's hallucinating, or dreaming. It hadn't been long since she'd seen her best friend, she'd only gone home and returned a few days ago, but this seems more clear than a dream, and she's certain that Allison wasn't wearing that when she saw her.
Lydia quickly bangs on the window, hoping to gain Allison's attention. She doesn't bother looking to see if she did catch Allison's attention, instead quickly leaving her room to go downstairs to the backyard. She didn't want to miss her, and as soon as the door is open Lydia shouts her name. There's no mistaking that voice, right? ]
:'D
It's only been a couple of days since she has seen Lydia. The last time had been when they'd found the latest body at the school, and that had barely been twelve hours before she'd wound up here. She's only been here for a day, and so it really hasn't been enough time to miss her. Except she has, she really has, and so when she hears that face and turns sharply to see the face of her best friend in the doorway, her whole expression brightens.
Allison goes from serious and focused to laughing and smiling in an instant, and she quickly heads over to the door to meet her. As soon as she reaches Lydia she pulls her in for a hug, arms winding around her shoulders as she holds on tight. ]
God, Lydia, you're here too? [ She lets out another laugh, full of relief as she shakes her head. ] I didn't know, I thought it was just me.

[ Lydia's hug is tight, and not wanting to let go. She's really here, as both good and bad as that is. But she's not alone anymore, she can talk to someone about the things from home, or someone about the things here that would actually understand ]
I've been here for weeks. It's good to see you.
[ Lydia's missed her, obviously, even if it hasn't been all that long ]

With a stupid grin on her face she gives her another quick squeeze before pulling back just enough to look at her, hands on Lydia's shoulders as she looks at her friend. ] I am...so glad to see you.

[ It's a relief, that nothing had happened to Allison since Lydia had seen her, or that nothing has happened to her since she'd gotten here. It's a big relief, and it actually makes her a little happy ]
But it's been weeks. I don't know how they've done it but we're not at home. Or can get home. There's something that brings us here and keeps us here, and other things can happen.
[ Like going home and not remembering it ]
No one knows how.

Allison goes with the second choice. ]
Okay. Other things, what do you mean by other things?
[ Because honestly, that sounds ominous as all hell right now. ]

[ It wasn't what Lydia wanted to tell Allison, not straight away at least - it wasn't nice to hear, but at least knowing was being prepared. And Allison could handle herself ]
I don't know how often it happens but someone mentioned it to me when I arrived.
[ And now they're gone ]

[ so this really isn't what she was expecting, but that's okay. she can handle this, she always handles it. she pinches her fingers at the bridge of her nose briefly, eyes closing, and then just like that, she's good. she takes the moment to look stressed, and then she just nods, and it's done. it's not solved, but she can worry about that another day. allison can take care of herself, after all, and she can damn sure take care of lydia too. they'll be fine. ]
Well, guess I'll just have to get out of retirement again, won't I? [ as if she'd ever really been retired. the time away in france was nice, but allison had known deep down that a return to beacon hills meant a return to hunting and here-
well, here it doesn't seem like she'll have much of a choice. ]
