And the lights go out...
Who: Brigid and open
When: Days 100-102
Where: Everywhere
What: Wolves have no trouble seeing in the dark, so, Brigid is only put out by not being able to cook.
Note: I know it's way late, and I so, so apologize. I fail.
OOC: Brigid is going to be everywhere at some point. She's not involved in the sea monster plot, but she is fishing, and she will still be hunting after dark sometimes, since darkness doesn't bother her.
I had tentative plans with Magneto, Derek, Dilandau? Everyone else is welcome to smack into her.

"I'm worried about everyone. With the power out, and the food running short, everything is going to spoil very, very quickly. And we don't have any way to preserve it." Meaning that they could get sick from spoiled food. Not something she looks forward to.
no subject
"I don't know what's more pathetic, your worrying or the fact that you've not got the brains to solve it."
It's clear he's decided she's an idiot of a woman, fit only to be coddled by someone who can protect her from her own stupidity.
"If you're worried about the food spoiling, build a fire and smoke it. Then boil up some seawater and salt the rest."
no subject
"And did you perhaps think that there are those of us who can't salt our meat. Unusual for you to think of anyone beyond yourself, I know, but just for a moment, stretch yourself and attempt it." Her hand curls into a fist, hiding the claws that had begun to grow.
"Smoking, if done improperly, ruins the meat and people get sick anyway. Have you seen a smokehouse around here? No. Salting? Will work, but some of us can't do that, for various reasons." Namely, it'd destroy her tastebuds and she'd never get the taste out of her mouth, and she'd dehydrate horribly. "Or did none of that occur to you, because you're too worried about getting your next fire fix?"
no subject
"Why should I care what demons like you can't eat!? Why should I care about you, when all you do is turn up and whine at me like you've got a say in what I can do!? If you come here and act like you've got a place in my life again, I'll cut your tongue out!"
He needs to cut off her head, or set this whole forest alight, anything to get rid of the stress and the rage that's threatening to eat him.
no subject
"Because if we all die, you'll die with us." She growls out the words and then forces herself to straighten and drags her claws back in. Brigid isn't going to let him force her into a bad situation. "I'm not whining. I'm pointing out flaws in your thinking. And if you try to cut my tongue out, remember I'm faster than you, and I get better."
She has no problem using her werewolf abilities to her advantage.
no subject
"I'm not your friend. I'm not your subordinate." He's panting with how tense he is as he talks. "I don't live with you, I don't drink with you and I don't like you. You don't hold any place in my life that lets you point anything out to me."
no subject
"Unfortunately for you, we're stuck in this little town together, whether you like it or not." She won't allow herself to be brought down to his level. "That means, like it or not, we depend on each other for survival." Her voice is even, controlled. No more growl, no more hint of a temper. It's a skill every wolf learns.
no subject
"Aren't you a noble, little fool? I don't depend on you for survival, nor do I care if you die. You're not one of the ones I'm doing anything for."
no subject
"And I've been called worse by better, Dilandau."

She cocks her head to the side. She's just watching him, making no move at all. She won't let him hurt her, but attacking isn't the way either.
no subject
"You ought to think what it says about you that people 'better' than me call you names in public, you self-important, scrawny, little demon bitch."
no subject
"It's a sign of a poor mind that has to resort to insults and cursing all the time." Brigid bends over and begins gathering the wood again. As long as it's far enough from the woods, a fire isn't a bad idea.
"Also, those men are a result of a society that degrades and devalues women. It says that the society is broken and should probably be shaken to its foundations and rebuilt on equality, rather than on degradation of half the populace." Brigid shrugs. She's a student of history. It's one story that repeats over and over and over again.
no subject
"Don't you touch that wood!" How dare she, after insulting his fires and his control over them? How dare she think she can join him like a comrade? It makes with
"The reason you get insulted is because you're dense! Do you think I want to spend half the night with you treating me like an idiot who doesn't have any self control? Do you think I want to listen to you whine and chide me for enjoying myself? You're not coming near my fire! Get back to your woods."
no subject
"I don't live in the woods, Dilandau. I live at the lighthouse." Brigid just shakes her head. "If you want to be abandoned that's fine. I was attempting to make amends and help assuage my own worries about the fire." She sighs. Why can't she understand this guy?
"Good luck." Brigid flips her hair and turns to walk away.
no subject
"Come near me again and I'll make sure you have something to worry about!" and because he's cottoned on to what 'misogynistic' means, he adds a little extra to prick her like she pricked him.
"Stinking bitch."
Before she can find something to niggle at again he turns and runs back to his bonfire site. Better a smaller fire than dealing with her.
