Who: Brigid
When: Day 121
Where: The Tunnels
What: Catch-all log for Brigid

OOC: Brigid will be around the pack for most of the time. However, she has plans with Raphael, the pack, and a few others. Tag in, with a general time that you want her, and I will hit everyone back.

Note: She entered the tunnels with the following things:

- Her bag
- Her makeshift cane
- The book that she came back to the cape with
- Pens/pencils/paper
- Flashlight

It takes him a second to search the ground with his light, soon finding the cane and picking it up for her. Walking over, he holds it out so she can take it. She shouldn't be alone, especially down here. Sam might not exactly know her, but that doesn't mean he's just going to walk off and leave her alone.

"Here. Sorry about that," he sounds a little sheepish about startling her so badly. "I wasn't trying to sneak up on you. My name's Sam."

He shakes her hand, eyes giving her a once over to check for injuries. She seems more worn out than anything, and he takes up a spot beside her against the wall, not sitting but leaning against it.

"So, you've got some super powered senses of your own, huh? Seems like everyone's running into trouble down here." He muses on this for a moment before clearing his throat, casting a look down at her. "I'm good. Ready to find a way out of here, kind of wish I'd stayed behind where it wasn't so cramped."

He's half joking, since it will be a cold day in hell before he lets his brother venture into a mysterious tunnel system without him by his side. Still, it's hard not to at least miss seeing the sky.

The mention of Raphael definitely has his attention. He's not sure who the 'blue woman' is, but surely he'll run into her at some point, either down here or on the other side.

"You ran into Raphael?" He glances behind them, a reflex, as if the angel will appear at the mention of his name. Sam knows he can't, but that doesn't keep him from looking anyway. "Is he with the other angels?"

Angel powers or no, Sam is definitely giving them some space.

"Yeah, I know. I think it happened after everyone managed to get down here."

He quirks an eyebrow up at that. Sometimes, it's easy to forget that the angels have people who actually have faith in them, who haven't experienced just how dickish they can be.

Or maybe she has,and just assumes that's expected.

"I've got some history with the angels. Most of it pretty rough. Might wanna keep that in mind before you jump to assumptions." He says this without any hints of irritation or upset - he knows she isn't familiar with his history, and to an outsider yeah, he looks disrespectful. His family has been screwed over too much by those from Heaven. "I take it you're religious then?"

Sam had always believed in angels, and at one point in his life he would pray. This was before he had the chance to actually meet an angel face to face. Never really religious, but spiritual.

He'd been a little naive about them, he's able to admit that now. He can understand where she's coming from.

"I understand. Trust me, if you'd experienced what I have..." and it's too long of a story to get in to, and besides. She didn't ask, and he isn't exactly comfortable discussing his past in general. "Just find it hard to respect them after the things I've seen them do, that's all."

He nods, a hand pushing his hair out of his face. "Right. You gonna be okay on your own, then?"

She has a point, and Sam had been too naive about angels before he'd actually encountered them. Something he's since rectified, but sometimes he wishes he could still believe in them like he used to. Believed they were there to help.

"It's fine, I get it." He offers her a half smile. It's hard to be separated from those he knows and trusts. Sam's just a stranger to her, so he can't really blame her. "Be careful, okay?"

He might not know her, but that doesn't mean he wants her to be hurt or worse down here. Especially since she has senses that are normally blocked. It's times like this he's thankful to be human without those extra abilities - he doesn't have to worry about being rendered virtually blind.
