Catch-all Tunnel Log
Who: Raphael and Open
When: Day 121
Where: The tunnels
What: Failing all over the place
Notes: If you want something specific, just let me know.
Stane, some other warning, and then Gabriel had disappeared - Raphael hadn't wasted time in going to Michael and pointing out they needed to go - if it was an escape, then they could retrieve Gabriel.
They just hadn't know the tunnels bore complications.

"Uh-Thank you." He takes the water bottle, looking for somewhere to put it. He'd given his jacket away and there were a few odds and ends in his pockets now, and away from Donna, his sword was hanging from a make-shift sheath made from his tie. Lowering his own flashlight to the ground, he shifted the contents around, tucking two pieces of chalk and a pencil into his other pocket and trying to put the water bottle into the now empty pants pocket. It wasn't really working.

"You do know you can carry things in your hands, right?" How would he ever cope in day to day life with a phone, car keys, Starbucks, a handbag - or well, more likely a briefcase in his case, a newspaper or magazine and a Gregg's pastry. Multitasking and holding multiple things at once. It's a human life skill.

"I have the flashlight. And I need to keep a hand free." In case he needed to draw his blade. He wasn't human, but he was a soldier, and that at least, he knew.

"The bottle is made of plastic - you can always drop it if you need your hand free in an instant." Please don't be drawing weapons. Unless there are monsters...

And even if God was right, and humans were just as important as The Host, that didn't mean they were the same or that Raphael ever wanted to be one.
"Better to not lose the time." The bottle crunches slightly, plastic bending, and he manages to force it into his pocket. He doesn't plan on drawing it - but there might be monsters. Crowley was down here. Who knew what else.

"You need pockets like my mate, the Doctor, they're bigger in the inside." She shoots him a smile, regardless. "But make sure you drink. Dehydration sucks."

"Normally it wouldn't be an issue at all." But he might do that to his jacket, when he gets his Grace back. "I've seen it." But since he hasn't felt it...
