Who: Everyone who sees the network post re: the explosion and the impending blob threat!
When: Morning of Day 196. The blob threat and altered personalities have an open-ended date, atm, so people can be dealing with those as they wish!
Where: One of the science labs.
What: The orb causes an explosion of sorts in the lab, which results in two things: 1) some characters act "off," their personalities altering in some way, and 2) there are tiny red blobs (very The Blob-esque) everywhere that are harmless until you get close enough and you realize they want to jump onto your face.

[ The lab is a mess; cabinets and drawers are open, some faucets are dripping, and there's glass and scattered paper and things everywhere. Most troubling, however, are the blobs that like to suffocate people.

Freeze them, contain them in cupboards or whatever intact container you find handy, see if they're afraid of the Bunsen burner, try to use weapons on them -- best to get them cleaned up quickly, though! ]

I think you got it.

[ Maria had come to the lab looking for Banner. After the video had gone out - after this man had made the call, asking for Banner and mentioning something about an orb (hadn't that been what Banner had been discussing before? She's guessing) she'd wanted to know what it was. What was going on.

But that apparently would have to wait after it exploded on video. Apparently this man knew how to handle himself on it, and the orb had gone across the room, down. For now ]

There's more of them where that came from.

[ Literally, there's more of them coming out of some beaker of goop that got broken when the orb blew up. ]

Think you wanna lend a hand, or are you just going to watch? [ He's practically growling. ]

[brainsqueeze]

Behind you.

[ There, she's helping. She'd taken note of them first, seeing what they were, what they did, and she'd wanted to stop him wildly thrashing after he'd knocked that first one down.

But where that first one had been there were others, and that first one was coming back. And they were going for her too, now. She tried to duck as one flew at her, moving into the room and picking up the first thing she could place her hand on to try and keep them at bay ]

What is this?

The hell's it look like?

[ Any answer she might have on that front would be useful, also, because Dean hasn't got a freaking clue. ]

There was something blue here before, that's as far as I got.

[ But it's something considering how little she's been here. She's been working on the what as a whole rather than the what of this thing. Maybe what she hadn't looked at what more immediately important but how could you know ]

You seen it before?

Yeah. On a movie with Robin Williams once. Or in a drive-thru.

[ In other words: not really. Isn't she glad she asked? ]

[ Oh yeah. So glad ]

[ Since he hadn't said otherwise. Also have another duck and swing god where are they coming from? And what are they? ]

Not a clue. I was just in here and it blew up. I didn't touch anything.

[ And he will stick to that story because it's truth, so there. ]

[ Why do those words sound familiar? Oh. Because everyone who doesn't want to admit something usually says that. Innocence. Good job she hadn't been questioning him causing this before, right? ]

Someone was researching it the other day. Not sure how far they got.

[ They can't get further now unless this actually helps ]

[ He shoots her another look and then tackles another glob, tossing it in a cabinet. ]
