Santa Claus is coming to town
Who: Secret Santa participants, but also EVERYONE!
Where: Town Hall
When: Evening of day 24
What: Present giving! The Secret Santa reveal, and anyone who wants to have a christmas party is welcome to join too!
Notess: Party style thread guys, so go nuts. No order, everything is chaos, tag to your hearts content, feel free to break off into separate threads, and no spiking the punch! Also I think she's sort of mentioned it to a bunch of people but want to do me some lovely favours and handwave the actual name drawing? I will backtag if people want but it seems a little pointless to thread that out.
There's another message on the network that morning from Anna, just audio again. It's about as garbled as her first one regarding the Secret Santa idea, but for anyone who is listening closely enough they'll make out a few details. Namely this evening, town hall, and bring your presents before she shuts it off.
She's spent the rest of the day trying to do what she can to make the place look nicer. She's hardly got Christmas decorations on tap, but she's done what she can with what she has all the same. There's paper snow flakes up around the place, some of the food from her house placed in bowls to make it more party-appropriate, and it's no fir but she has relocated a small tree from the edge of the woods and placed it in the hall. Barely decorated, not even the right kind of tree, it's the best she can do with the resources she's been given.
Now all there is to do is wait for people to come.

Inside Steve's, he'll find a set of army men toys, refitted as the Avengers. Thor has part of a doll's wig glued to his head, and the others are painted; the Hulk is a toy tank with curly hair.

He also drew a card on top and made a ribbon out of paper.
I forgot that Steve's supposed to be mute so he's just going to. Gesture towards whether or not he's supposed to open this now or not.

"Oh, great. Thanks." He smirks and then tests their stretchiness. "Extra estrechi," he says with a grin and a Spanish accent.
no subject
And he definitely didn't really have friends.
So.
He holds up a card that says "Thank You." And then he takes out a marker and writes on it and holds it back up. "Gracias."
no subject
He grins at the gracias and flashes Steve a thumbs up. "De nada. I'm glad you like them. It was between those or condoms. Guess I made the right choice."
no subject
"Thanks for the thought," he writes. "Did you paint these yourself?"
no subject
"Yup, sure did. Snatched the wigs off a couple dolls too. Curled my hair myself with the help of a very thin stick."
no subject
"They're amazing," he scribbles, and then puts them all away into his bag, except for tankhulk. Tank Hulk, he sits right on his shoulder.

Hulk needs to be moved to the top of Steve's head, because his shoulder is too slopey and he fell off when Steve moved his arm to write.
no subject
"Yeah, you are." Then the wryness is back, and he nods at the "Hulk" on Steve's head. "Only a true friend would want him on his head after meeting him."
no subject
He writes, "I like the guy alright but I'm not sure I'd want the real one on my head. My skull's pretty strong, but it's not that strong."
He maybe has learned to write faster from this experience.

Maybe everyone else is healthy enough to play.
He writes, "I think you're an excellent doctor" instead.
no subject
"Thanks, Steve, but not good enough to be able to fix your head after the other guy sits on it." He leans in closer, smiling lightly. "I don't think anyone is."
no subject
"Let's not find out," he writes. Pictionary charades sounds fun, and also like telephone. So. A disaster.
"Are you enjoying the party so far?"
no subject
"So far, so good. No one's gotten into a fight yet. How about you?"
no subject
"Can't wait to get my voice back though."
