Santa Claus is coming to town

What: Present giving! The Secret Santa reveal, and anyone who wants to have a christmas party is welcome to join too!
Notess: Party style thread guys, so go nuts. No order, everything is chaos, tag to your hearts content, feel free to break off into separate threads, and no spiking the punch! Also I think she's sort of mentioned it to a bunch of people but want to do me some lovely favours and handwave the actual name drawing? I will backtag if people want but it seems a little pointless to thread that out.


There's another message on the network that morning from Anna, just audio again. It's about as garbled as her first one regarding the Secret Santa idea, but for anyone who is listening closely enough they'll make out a few details. Namely this evening, town hall, and bring your presents before she shuts it off.

She's spent the rest of the day trying to do what she can to make the place look nicer. She's hardly got Christmas decorations on tap, but she's done what she can with what she has all the same. There's paper snow flakes up around the place, some of the food from her house placed in bowls to make it more party-appropriate, and it's no fir but she has relocated a small tree from the edge of the woods and placed it in the hall. Barely decorated, not even the right kind of tree, it's the best she can do with the resources she's been given.

Now all there is to do is wait for people to come.

He's sort of listening, at least: he stills, breath coming deep to keep cool and grin fading into something a little less aggressive. "You could. But would you? It's a party, Sharon. You're being a little rude."

"Not mad, not rude, just firm. If you show anyone here disrespect, and I hear about it, I'll firmly take your body apart until all you can do is lie around and wait to decay. Understood?"

She doesn't let go, but she doesn't lean in anymore, either.

"Here at the party or here at the coast? Cuz I gotta say, Krampus-chan, I already been pretty naughty."

"Let's start with at the party. Start you off nice and easy."

She puts just the slightest pressure on the back of his knee. "Think you can manage that?"

And she's in a dress no less! This is absolutely pristine. It's lucky for both her and him that he understands she can probably actually dismember him; otherwise he'd be too busy being turned on to answer.

As it is, he's just turned on enough to enjoy it and answer with no small amount of facetiousness: "Yes, ma'am, thank you, ma'am."

Unfortunately, Sharon has never been particularly good at knowing what someone's thinking about her. Predicting threats and movements, yes, but it never occurs to her that someone might be attracted to her. So even though she knows he's mocking her, she doesn't catch onto anything else he might be thinking.

Nonetheless, she knows that asking him to be a gentleman after the first rough-up is asking too much, so she takes the meaning of the words rather than the tone and backs up, letting go of his arm.

"Good. Thank you, Poison. Now go do something somewhere else."

He makes a show of straightening his layer and stretching his arm. "I dunno if I can, man, I'm just a-quiver. Y'know, traumatized. Might need help to a chair."

"Try to ball up, Poison. I'm sure you'll manage."

She reclaims her place by the wall and looks at him the same way most people would view a roach with its head cut off skittering across the floor.
