one way or another, i'm gonna find ya
Who: Dean Winchester and: Meyer Lansky, Gabriel, Chuck, Raphael, Crowley, Balthazar, Castiel (and if we talked about Dean pranking your character OOCly already, then you too and I'm a ditz and forgot!)
What: Exploits of one Dean Winchester, hilariously suited to being a Trickster. Well, hilarious to him. For the moment.
When: Day 59 (I think? If you want it to be on another day that'll probably be fine.)
Where: Various spots around the Cape. Pretty much just tag in and say where you are/what you dude is doing, it can be super short or super not. Dean will appear/run into them!
Warnings: Individual threads will feature different situations. In one thread, there's dubcon. In general, not-so-nice pranking and near-killing.
Notes: This is pretty much closed to the people I've already discussed pranks/etc. with oocly. If I left your name off it's because I am occasionally the most forgetful person on the planet; just let me know and I'll fix it!
Ever since he woke up the other day -- well, since Cas woke him up, but that's a whole other issue -- he's been stuffing his face with candy and also fighting to keep his hands to himself. The longer this goes on though, the more people freak out about their new bodies, and Dean feels more and more unhinged, and it's like it's... not even a problem. It feels good, like he's buzzed on sugar and caffeine and general mayhem, and it's great. He can't remember the last time he ever felt so carefree.
But then sometimes, something reaches through the buzz, and it's like having a rock in his shoe. It's like a little pinch at first, but then it gets worse, and worse, until it's all Dean can think about, and he has to do something about it.
He has to give these people what's coming to them. They'd do the same to him, wouldn't they? Hell, some of them did already. It's time for Dean to show them how much it sucks when something more powerful than them wants to come along and teach them a lesson.

"Yeah? And what else comes along with that?" Meaning, has Chuck been getting the urge to slam anyone with neverending curses?

Chuck takes a step back, eyes wide and palms up. He hadn't meant to do that at all. He's been trying to figure it out, but it's hard, suddenly having all the powers of Zeus when he had nothing before.
He shakes his head. He thinks he's more freaked out about this than Dean is. "Uh, no, that's... that's it." His tone is entirely apologetic, like he's trying to apologize again without actually saying the words.

"Because last I checked, gods are usually at the top of the self-important list." And maybe, just maybe, Dean ought to know, but as far as he sees it, he's only really tricked the people who had it coming to them, the people who couldn't see past the end of their own Apocalypse to realize they were dealing with actual, real human lives.
And Zeus is no different. Chuck isn't like that now, but when will it start? Because Dean sure as hell can't fight any of this off.
"If you're not there yet, maybe you should hear it now, before you come up on my roster, before all that power starts to go to your head."
Is Dean talking about himself or Chuck? Or Zeus and Prometheus?
Either way, he's too far gone now.

"What? No. Dean, I--I'm not a god. I just... I have these powers and I don't know how to control them, and Dean, I'm sorry I--I didn't mean..."
And he didn't. He really didn't. What purpose would he have to hurting Dean, the only person--the only human--that Chuck knows from their world? The two of them might not be friends, or anything close, but that doesn't mean Chuck wants to hurt him.

Chuck will find himself in an infinity circle, locking him and his powers firmly in place. He won't get the chance to do anything to anyone -- you know, until someone comes along and frees him, but whatever! That's not the point. He needs to know now that people won't stand for gods throwing their weight around.
tl;dr, oops
But there was no pain. He didn't even move.
His powers were something else completely. They were still there, but they felt chained. Contained. It flares out, as reflexive as his flinch was, but before he can do anything, his powers hit invisible barriers.
He goes to take another step back, because he has no idea what Dean's done. But his back hits something hard and solid. He spins around to see what, exactly, he's hit to find--
Nothing. There's nothing behind him.
He spins back around to find no one but Dean standing across from him. It's only then that Chuck looks down.
It doesn't take him long to put two and two together. Infinity Circle. He was trapped.
"Dean, no, please, don't-- I haven't done anything!"

Look, helpful trickster, not at all slightly bonkers with his power, and he totally didn't have a bizarre, delusional moment where he collapsed Chuck and Zeus. And he's not projecting his own problems! He's just being a good citizen.
"And you won't do anything either." See, it all makes sense!
"You'll be fine in there. I wouldn't worry."
no subject
But he doesn't. Therefore he can't.
"I wouldn't!" Chuck moves to the opposite end of the trap, as close the Dean as the trap will allow before stopping him. "I'm just Chuck. I don't even know how to use my powers, I couldn't--"
no subject
"Not yet, but you'll figure it out." He gestures at him. "Or, you know, you won't. You'll thank me later."
He grins and then turns to leave.

But all confusion falls away into panic when Dean starts to walk away. If Dean leaves then that means that Chuck is actually stuck here. Trapped in a circle not even a few feet across, powerless and honestly not able to do anything about it.
Honest, true, actual helplessness is not something he is used to feeling. And the new sensation is not exactly something he enjoys, either.
"Dean! No, wait, don't-- Don't leave! I can't--- I won't do anything, Dean, please!"
