Who: Brigid and... everyone.
Where: Everywhere
When: Day 82-84
What: The Full Moon is coming and Brigid is losing her grip. Going Omega is no fun.
Warnings: Possibly swearing, definite blood and attacks. Also, discussion of mental health.
OOC: This is a catch all log, since we had a lot of people who wanted to do things. I'm going to put up a few big headers, and then it'll be a free for all.
If you have any questions, please, feel free to ask.

Instead, she shakes her head, red hair bouncing around her shoulders. "We're tired of fish. I was hoping for something a bit more robust." She'd, literally, kill for a steak right now. A big one.
no subject
"Reptiles taste more like chicken, but you could try to find one of the deer around. Or maybe get enough rabbits or small game to make up enough red meat?" Brigid seems way more on edge than usual and Riley's not used to this sort of attitude from a werewolf when it's not the full moon.
no subject
She really is Raphael's in all senses of the word.
"That's what I was looking for." She almost growls. "Dilandau's fire drove them away." There's a few closer to the barrier, but when she gets close to there, she has to worry about cats, bears, and defenses even though all she's doing is hunting game.
She's hoping they come back soon, but doesn't have any idea how long it will take after that big of a fire and fight before they do. And it isn't something she's going to go whining to the Angels about.

"Like I said, try closer to the water. The animals would have run that way out of instinct, so I'm guessing you'll find more of them scattered around the shore line than usual." She was trying to help, Brigid. Don't growl. It was rude.
no subject
If she had a firmer grip, she would realize how horrible she sounded. She likes Riley... sort of.
"I went to the water." Brigid growls out. "There's also more bears, more tigers, and the weapon defenses aren't far. It's not worth the risk." She snaps. Brigid doesn't think Riley is stupid, but she's certainly acting it today.
no subject
Brigid was sounding way more on edge than she was used to, so she'd try to be sensitive about it. For now. "Try herding them using that, then. Get some rustlers and yourself to drive them towards the other predators. They might think of you as the lesser evil to what's guarding us."
no subject
She begins to pace. Her eyes snap to Riley. She places her feet carefully, pacing and making no noise. There a low growl in the back of her throat that she's trying not to let loose. "Do not tell me how to hunt. I'm not an idiot."
She snaps the words out at the other shifter, her claws growing from her hands. Her eyes flash briefly before fading back to brown.
no subject
Riley might have been able to look past the snappish tone, but as soon as she saw the claws come out, she focused her gaze on the other shifter. Her eyes narrowed and she stilled. If she was in her feline form, the only thing on her that would have been moving would have been the very tip of her tail. "I never said you were, Brigid. You're making a complaint and I'm trying to help you. That's all."
Backing down or showing any form of submission would be a very bad thing to do right now, so Riley prepared to be more aggressive than she might want to be. She didn't know what was twisting Brigid's fur, but she wasn't going to let herself be a casualty of it.
no subject
Her hands flex, the claws steady on her fingers. It feels good to have them out, natural. Her eyes flash blue, daring the other shifter to do something.
"By making completely obvious suggestions. Anyone with a brain knows to go near water after a fire." This time the growl fully escapes, deep throated and angry. "Respectful doesn't mean idiot."
no subject
Now she was just getting annoyed. She hadn't been picking on Brigid or being rude in terms of her religion, but the girl seemed keen on starting a fight. Riley wasn't going to let her and her beliefs stand in the way of a perfectly awesome friendship with one of the few people in this trapped hole that she liked and felt comfortable with.
Then she just had to step over the line, because really, Brigid asked for it. "Maybe some people don't seem like they currently have use of their brains, so things have to be pointed out for them."
Yes, yes she just went there, Brigid.

When Riley makes the comment, the leash snaps. Brigid growls and her eyes turn blue. She's not even trying to hold back the wolf any more.
Her feet dig into the soft ground beneath her. She regrets wearing shoes now. Her fist lashes out, an aimed punch at Riley.
no subject
Riley wasn't sure what had gotten up Brigid's butt, but she wasn't going to just walk away now. She couldn't. Brigid was in too aggressive a mood and walking away would just get her chased. So she'd meet her head on. Curved claws slipped free of their sheaths, her eyes flaring green as she looked at Brigid, canines elongating as she hissed.
Then she pounced.
no subject
Brigid grins around her fangs, ready for the fight. Her training still comes in handy. She rolls with the pounce and tries to pin Riley to the ground.
"Not a nice kitty." She growls as the hair appears on her face and arms.
no subject
So as Brigid tried to pin her, she rolled against one arm and managed to slip away under it, coming up on all fours, weight rested on the balls of her feet and her finger tips. She didn't shift any further, not wanting to actually hurt Brigid more than a few scratches or bites that she knew she could heal from, but she had a feeling she might have to resort to it if the look in Brigid's eye was anything to go by.
"Do I need to make the obligatory muzzle reference?"
no subject
Her eyes are blue now, and she's not trying to hide her. Her self-defense training was far more formal, but she'd wrestled with the pack.
Her leg swings out, aiming for Riley's head.
no subject
Whatever's wrong with Brigid, all she can do is hope the girl comes to her senses after the full moon.
no subject
Snarling, she lunges for Riley's throat, twisting to bite Riley's arm. She doesn't want to kill her. She just wants the fluffball to go away.
no subject
Riley's on the cusp of turning fully herself, though which form is up for grabs. She's trying to keep herself from doing it, not wanting to give the audience they have more of a show than they're already getting, but the pain from the bite is putting her in a defensive state of mind, which is quickly changing to aggressive.
no subject
Brigid's tussling with the wolves, and learning Krav Maga has gone out the window. She just wants to hurt now. Her claws catch in Riley's shirt, using it to drag her closer and try to punch her again.
no subject
Fur will be a better barrier against claws and fangs than thin fabric and maybe, just maybe, the sight of a hybrid feline/human will snap her out of whatever rage she's fallen into.
So within a handful of moments, Brigid is no longer fighting an eighteen year old girl. She's now up close and personal with a much larger and fiercer looking monstrosity that lets out another roar, teeth bared as she pushes Brigied away and moves to brace herself on all fours, tail lashing behind her. She's chosen the hybrid form so that she can talk if she needs to. She's not sure that will be an option here.
no subject
The roar gets one echoed back at her. Brigid isn't the shy, retiring, sweet girl that everyone has come to know. Now, she's a werewolf defending territory.
Her claws dig into the soft ground under her. She almost lunges forward, but just circles, going for that tail.

Later on, he'll be tempted to make 'catfight' jokes, but when he hears Raphael call, he's all concern. He touches down in the woods a second or two after the archangel. "What's going on?"
no subject
When she shakes her head to clear it and pushes up to her feet, she's greeted by a familiar face and a not so familiar face. She gives a huffed growl, mostly for show, but her tail is still lashing angrily behind her.
"Ask her," she snarls, pointing with a clawed finger in the direction she'd seen the head of red hair fly.
no subject
Her fangs don't disappear, but she pulls some of her claws back in. Her eyes fade into blue at the edges, the brown shining through.
Brigid pushes herself to her feet, and says nothing, just standing there. Her head cocks to the side, hearing the angels speaking. They haven't said anything to her, directly.
She might need to meditate a bit more than she has been.
