"You know what the fuck I'm talking abouts." He shoves Charles away, but this time he doesn't seem like he's doing it to reach anyone else. Who seems to be mysteriously absent, now. Funny, that.

You don't remember me, unfortunately that's the nature of this curse. But I assure you, I am not the enemy.

[ He could easily erase the knowledge of this entire endeavor immediately, has done in the past. But with the memories of the cape in his thoughts he finds he can't. ]

He only realises afterwards that he never opened his mouth to say that. He sure hopes that's how this works or else he's going to look like an idiot.

Charles turns naturally, pulling up one of the toppled barstools and gesturing for the other man to take a seat. Surprisingly he still has some of his powers within this memory of a dream, is able to sway the bartender in ignoring their little departure from decorum.

"What do you like to drink, Charlie? I think you need it."

[dowhatisays]

"Whiskey."

He speaks normally this time, this is all too fucking much to take in. "This is just cause of the dream, right? I'm still dreaming right now."

"Yes."

A pause, "You know me outside of it. I apologise for using my power against you but it was the only thing I could think of. We don't what would happen if you could injured in a dream."

[dowhatisays]

"Usually you wakes up a little angrier then you went to bed and that's it. It don't usually happen people I'm dreaming about are so damn concerned." He downs his drink in one go, and pours himself another one pronto.

[mentis]

"Usually I can't dream walk. Not like this. So I don't think the same rules apply."

He does feel guilty, of course he does. But this is a dream in the cape. This is an experiment just like the last few and he knows how badly those can go. So he had to step in.
