Sea monster attack!
Who: The kidnappees, rescuers, and whoever wants to wait on the beach with towels. See here for an explanation.
When: Afternoon Day 102
Where: The beach
What: The device holding the sea monster at bay has been without power for two days, and now he's... lonely. Or angry. Angry and lonely. But now he's kidnapped some new friends!
The network has been spotty, cutting in and out for a couple days now, but luckily for everyone currently in the monster's grasp, Stane happens to be standing in the middle of a decent signal area.
"The sea monster is taking people! Hurry!"

Instead he focused on Samandriel and pointed out Alec.
"My concern is if we grab him with telekineses, we may drag parts of the creature ashore, which will only complicate matters." A caution to his younger brother, though his worrying clear to Raphael. Had Samandriel always been that way? Was it fall out from what had happened? He didn't know the younger angel well, but he needed to figure that out later. "I believe if we fly to him, you grab the boy and fly back here with him, I'll keep the creature busy for a moment, then follow. Should be simple." Should be.
He reached over, putting a hand on his brother's shoulder, part patting him for encouragement, part squeezing gently to try to steady him, and it coming out a little clumsy, Raphael's lack of practice at comforting his siblings clear.

"Alright." He nodded, grounding himself, helped along a little by the hand on his shoulder, even if it was a touch clumsy. Gaze turning to focus on Alec, he nodded again. "That should work--hopefully without injuring him too badly..." Though, it did seem like the best course of action here, and he trusted Raphael's judgement. Trusted him not simply because he was a brother and an archangel, but because of everything that had happened since his arrival, everything Raphael had done for him and all the care he seemed to have for all of their siblings. While he could liken this to receiving and following orders, as he was used to, that...made him somewhat uncomfortable now, another effect of the events proceeding his arrival in Cape Kore.
Drawing in a small, quiet breath, Samandriel glanced back up to Raphael, now managing to appear more collected and perhaps even a slight bit determined, giving him a look to indicate that he was ready to put the plan into action immediately.

These were the starts, he supposed. Seeing Samandriel settle, he withdrew his hand and nodded just slightly. Time to get to work. He spread his wings out, invisible to perhaps all but his brothers, then flew, leaving Samandriel to rescue Alec while he did battle with the monster's tentacles.
It didn't take much time before he was hit, and a human would have had the wind knocked from him though Raphael was fine and taking advantage of his strength to kick and hit, a distraction for the rescue part of the plan.

Coming to a land in a shock of cold water just in front of where Alec was being held by the sea monster's tentacle, he was quick to reach out and place a hand on the man's shoulder, both to assure him that he was there, and to gain his attention.
"Are you alright?" He asked quickly, probably not the best question given the situation, but wanting to know if there were any serious injuries to worry about. "We're going to help you." Adding that a moment later in hopes of some reassurance or something, he then began making an effort to tug Alec from the monster's grip, hoping getting him free would really be as simple as pulling him out. As incredibly unlikely as that was.
