breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
Who: Allison Argent and Alec McDowell, later feat. Anita Blake
What: Triple A, activate!
When: Teensy bit backdated, to afternoon 102; after this
Where: The beach!
She was only out to look for Lydia, honestly. The other girl had barely given Allison an explanation before disappearing on her, and even though she was sure that Lydia could handle herself (...mostly) it didn't stop her from worrying. It eventually got enough that she just decided to go out, just to take a look. If her friend didn't need her, then that would be fine, but just in case... everyone always said it was better to be safe than sorry.
Allison still had a tight grip on her dagger as she came across the beach for the first time, and while it was obvious that something had gone down here there wasn't really anyone lingering around. Certainly not the redhead that she had been looking for, anyway. There was someone though - not Lydia, a guy - and Allison should have really just moved on, but she was curious. There could have been something wrong, and they were all stuck in this together, right? She couldn't just walk away. Tucking the blade away between her belt and her skirt, just enough to the side that it wasn't readily visible, she considered her options again before she made up her mind.
"Hey." Obviously a good starting point. Allison called out to him as she approached, arms folded over her chest as she frowned at the stranger. "Are you okay?"

He was still wet and cold when she approached him. He wasn't shivering though. Transgenic's ran hotter than most humans and he was comfortable for the time being. He looked up at her and exhaled. He did not need another person accusing him of stealing that guy's face. He looked back at the water and finally got to his feet. "Yeah. I'm good. What do you want?" He turned to face her finally. He probably looked a little strange. Still wet and cut up from his time with the sea monster. Not exactly the best look to sport.

"Nothing, just- you were out here by yourself." She shrugged slightly, leaning in a little closer as she squinted to try and get a better look at some of the injuries he held. Nothing major at all, she could probably help out with some of those. She wasn't sure exactly what they had back at the house, but she was sure there had to be some kind of alcohol in the house by now. That, some cleaning up, it wouldn't take much.
Of course...it would take a lot less than that for Alec, but Allison didn't know that much yet.
"You're hurt," she took another step closer, hesitating for a moment before offering a hand to him. "I can probably help with some of those. It's a little walk from here, but I can get you cleaned up and we probably have some clothes that would fit you?"

"It's kinda how I like it." He's not sure why he's so hostile, but it could be that he's hurt. Alec has never been very good at admitting when he's in pain. He's usually one to hide it and then deal with it later. It's the way at Manticore really. "Yeah. It happens. Sea monster kinda has the tendency to injure you." He's not sure if he should accept the invite, but he doesn't have much to go home to at his place. "Alright." Because it sounds better than his place.
