Where: The Kitchen
What: Charles decides to have a go at those alien foods.
Warning: Strange effects of alien foods? No warnings really.

It's not that there is anything exactly wrong with the supplied food... (TV dinners are an acquired taste, and one Charles has never acquired), the normal foods always seem to be in fairly low supply and Charles is a curious creature by his very nature. It's no surprise that sooner or later he would not be able to resist the desire to figure out what thee mysterious fruits and vegetables are, and what they taste like.

He may not be the most gourmet of chefs, but unlike his mother, Charles knows his way around the kitchen. Today there is a lot of action going on in there. He managed to find and clean some suitable kitchenware, as well as scrubbing down an area of the kitchen heavily until it looked glaringly out of place with the rest of the kitchen. Clean and organized as Charles works away, chopping, peeling and removing the pits and seeds from various strange colored and shaped food items. Each pit or group of seeds has its own separate place on a paper towel for his other upcoming project. (Cleaning up the atrium and attempting to plant some living plants.)

If anyone drops by the kitchen at any point on day 139, Charles will gladly cook something for them. All they have to do in return is play guinea pig for taste testing and determining the best ways to handle the different food products.

Anita sighed heavily as she stood outside Alec's bedroom door, arms folded save for the brief moment where she lifted one hand to knock. Allison had been missing for a couple of days now, long enough that they knew for sure that it wasn't just incidental, that she was gone and their makeshift little family was down to two. Unfortunate, to say the least. Alec wasn't the only one missing her, but Anita was more than ready to point out that he was being unnecessarily petulant.

She grimaced, knocking again, louder this time.

"Alec, if you don't come out, I'm coming in. I don't care if you're wearing pants or not."

What: Arthur wakes from one dream to find himself in another (so he assumes).

SITUATION 1: Locked to Eames

SITUATION 2: open to all

After meeting with Eames, Arthur finds himself on edge. Either just from the fact he doesn't know what's going on or where he is, the fact that there doesn't seem to be a way out (he's caught in a paradox, great), and the fact the entire town seems to lack any kind of technology from the last thirty years.

It shouldn't grate on him as much as it does, but it does. And as much as he'd love to stick around and continue to argue with Eames, it'll drive him to murder. It's a much better idea to just get out and walk around, learn the lay-out and become familiar with the design of it, just in case something happens. Just in case they're 'suddenly attacked' by these so called scientists. It's frustrating to the point that Arthur can feel the anger bubbling up in his chest, and he needs to move.

Which is why he's decided that walking around town, the beach, near but not close to the forest (not without extra rounds for his pistol, he's not stupid) and anywhere else. He's lost in thought for most of it, which is why he's a little more forgiving if he accidentally runs into anyone. But only slightly.

It had been a pleasant morning. The power had surged, blowing out a few minor appliances, before settling back to normal. The sun had been high in the sky and the bird had been chirping. The residents of Kore couldn't ask for a nicer day, at least not if they're being realistic.

That's why it's likely a surprise when the entire town begins to shake without warning. Things fly from shelves and animals scatter as the town is overtaken by a massive earthquake.

The worst of the shaking is centered around the General Store where poor little Maggie is looking for a box of crackers. The shaking is so violent that the building itself crumbles around her and he scream can be heard echoing in nearby buildings.
