Who: Charlie Bradbury, Ned and Daneel
Where: Ned's and Daneel's place!
When: Day 108
Summary: Charlie has decided it's about time she met Ned's robotic boyfriend, so she's decided to pay the happy couple a visit.


[ so charlie does know how the normal rules of society work. when you want to see someone, you contact them. you say hi, let's hang out, and then you very subtly bring up the topic of conversation you'd like to have. the thing about charlie, though, is that she's exactly most people and when she feels comfortable enough around someone - even if it's on some crazy horror cape of horrors - she tends to like to cut to the chase.

and this chase happens to be about ned and a particular robot slash android slash boyfriend that she has yet to meet.

therefore today has been selected as The Day that charlie will show up at ned's house and knock on his front door. without prior communications other than a few 'you should come by' and 'yeah I definitely should come by's that had happened in the days prior. The Day happens to be the day that introductions are in order and charlie just kind of smiles, preparing herself for whoever will open the door. hopefully it's ned and that way she can very much just tell him what it is she plans ]

[ Ned is the one to answer the door, and when he see Charlie on the other side of it, his face breaks into an immediate smile. ]

You're here!

[ He steps aside to let her in; he has to take joy in what he can, around this place. ] I'd offer to make you a cup of tea, but without the stove I'm afraid the best I can do is water, if you want it? [ Ned tries to be the best host he can despite the challenges. ]

[They have a guest. Daneel knows that, and in some part of his brain he's almost chagrined that Ned beat him to the door; it's the sort of task he's made for. He comes around the corner, though, polite and with a curious quirk to his head.]

Greetings, and welcome. Please, if we can provide you with refreshment, you need only ask. I am Daneel Olivaw. You appear to know Ned already.

[ ned's smile makes it easy for charlie to smile right back, giving a little wave at him from the doorway. ]

I got bored- I'm not interrupting anything am I?

[ but she walks in anyway, without really waiting for an answer, and waving off ned when he mentions the tea. ] More of a coffee person anyway, but thanks.

[ and then there's daneel, and charlie just kind of smiles a little bit brighter. ] So you're Daneel! [ wanna know who is the opposite of subtle? this girl. ] Ned talks about you a lot. I'm Charlie.

[ and that is a hand out for a handshake. ]

FINALLY I'm so sorry this took me forever

[ Ned isn't sure why, but the way she says that makes him go a bit hot in the face and duck his head in embarrassment. It's true, he knows. He does talk about Daneel an awful lot. Probably more than he ought to, to people who don't even care. But can they blame him? Isn't that what people who are madly in love are supposed to do? Better than talking about or even thinking about the fact that they are all helpless prisoners in some kind of sick experiment ]

No, not interrupting.

[Daneel takes Charlie's hand to shake it, his own hand warm and his grip comfortably gentle.]

Ned is very kind to spend so much thought on me.

[From someone else that might be sarcastic, but it's utterly genuine from him.]

I am very pleased to meet you, Charlie. Do come in and have a seat, if you would like.

He's kind of adorable when he does, not gonna lie.

[ she doesn't pick up on any sarcasm, and she's kind of a pro at that, so she just gives them a grin and a shrug. ]

Sure. As long as you guys are cool with it? [ she asks, but she doesn't really wait for a response, walking on in and taking a look around the room. ] Are you two the only ones who live here?
