Paranoia, Paranoia, Everybody's Out to Get Me
Who: The Doctor, everyone!
Where:Around the science center
What: Ghosts!
When: Day 127
It had been a couple days since it started, but the Doctor had been noticing with their new home came new friends. Or really, old friends. Friends he recalled being dead, and it only reminded him he wasn't able to do anything about it.
It brought back a panic he hadn't felt since being returned from the scientists with an unstable mind. At first, he thought those wounds were reopened as he woke the first day hearing voices from Time Lords past he hadn't heard in a long, long time, only as the day turned into the next, he saw others' minds were just as unsettled and saw what seemed like projections from their own pasts.
Crouched down under a cabinet attempting to fix an annoying leaking faucet, a young Adric chirped happily away next to him about theories of a problem the Doctor had once presented to him. The Doctor was thankful to have his face hidden as an ache in his throat lingered and ridiculous amount of guilt ate away at his hearts.
"Adric," The Doctor finally spoke, "Go find Tegan for me, will you?" He waited a while after the sink was fixed before popping out and glad to find the boy missing.
Washing his hands and splashing cold water on his face, the Doctor took it upon himself to go for a walk.

"Okay, that's not good. Come on, Spaceman!" She rested a hand on the small of his back, rubbing. "Deep breaths. Uh... back away from the vomit and sit with your head between your legs!"

"I'm sorry. I..." What? How could he say it? That was where he was drugged, possibly tortured, and had his mind broken into?
His chest still heaved with his hearts racing, but he could only stare inside.

Probably a good thing too, since finding the words for something like that was never easy.
"It's just a room now." She rubbed his arm lightly. Last thing she needed was for his panic attack to trigger a double heart-attack or something. She wasn't even sure if that was medically possible. Her knowledge of Time Lord health wasn't vast, then again her human medical knowledge mostly cam from doctor-related TV shows like Holby City. "No mad scientists in there. Just four walls."

He sits there for a while, leaning his head back against the wall and closes his eyes for a moment. Finally, he speaks, "That's where they had me.... I was strapped down in there on the table." He wished he didn't remember it, but he did.

Donna truly believed that too. If there was one person in the universe she believed in, it was a the Doctor.

"Maybe a cuppa would work better for this situation." He suddenly had lost all interest in investigating. However, that won't stop him yet. He'll continue onwards soon enough.

"Makes you wonder where the scientists have gone though, doesn't it?"

But now wasn't the time to be all mopey and depressed. Answers would come soon enough.

"You're not going all Oncoming Emo on me, are you?"

They found the kitchen and despite it being a mess, the Doctor overlooked it. "Is there a kettle somewhere?"

While she was waiting for the water to boil - a watched kettle never boils, as her old Nan used to say - she searched for the tea. "So, proper Earth tea or weird probably alien tea?"
