I had a dream but I called it a plan

Who: Raphael and ANY ONE.
What: Raphael just arrived, he's kicking the cage looking around.
When: Day 46, all day
Where: Anywhere!

Raphael had toyed with the thing on his wrist for a bit before going outside. Once or twice he attempted to fly passed the edge and ended up stuck there and having to walk back until he could fly again - but he made a map of those areas, and after a few attempts avoided them in favor of the woods, park, and buildings. As he pops in and out, there's a faint sound of thunderclaps and wings beating, but otherwise, nothing to announce him

Raphael is a little surprised to suddenly be on fire - not that it does him or Donnie any damage. He startled the human near-by - or something close enough to human that it made no difference - and he gives her a second before he reacts. Which, he doesn't need to.

"Raphael." He answers calmly, not upset at the reaction. Fire was Michael's element, he wonders for a moment what he would think of the little pryokenetic.

"Charlie. So.." She's still staring, baffled by what she just saw. She has questions, all of them wanting out at once so her reply is stuttered and halted and so very unsure.

"So...what just...how...was that like...rapid healing or something?" She only asks because of Logan. He could heal in a blink and she'd been meeting other mutants lately. This is her only theory.

"Or something." Rapid healing wouldn't explain why his clothing wasn't burned, and despite it being Michael's element almost all of the Host had some control over fire. "You caused me no harm or discomfort. It hadn't been my intention to startle you." He hadn't been considering Charlie at all really.

[charring]

Hence the 'or something'. She wasn't sure what to make of any of this. Charlie wasn't big on uncertainty so she tilts her head slightly.

"Good to hear, I think." She didn't want to start shit where there shouldn't be any and setting someone ablaze, harmless as it seems to have been, is a sure fire way to get herself in a bad fix.

She likes avoiding those. "So, how'd you survive it?" And, also. "Sorry about that, even if..." Well. Even if he was unharmed.

"Not that I'd recommend that as a typical greeting." Raphael folded his hands behind his back, standing comfortably, unconcerned.

"Because there are very few things in all of Creation which can harm me. Your fire isn't one of them." Michael could, Holy Fire certainly could. But a normal fire? It might harm Donnie, if he caught off guard enough, but Donnie wasn't aware of it and Raphael would restore him.

His calm demeanor is both relaxing and unsettling. She can't figure out which one to go with, honestly.

"I usually try to avoid greetings, anyway." And Charlie tries to pass that off as a joke, a half-smirk and a one shouldered shrug. Sadly, though, it's true. She avoids people like most cats avoid water. Any surprise contact and she tries to scramble away.

"You're new. When did you arrive in Kore?"

Archangels are unsettling, unless they are attempting to be otherwise. That Raphael is calm is just a reflection of his personality - or what of it he shows.

"Generally speaking I don't do introductions either." Every one who needed to know him did. Donnie and Dean had been the first in thousands of years.

"This morning. I've been looking around sense."

[charring]

"I did that my first day here, too." And she still does it every day. She can't help it. She hates it here. It's another cage with more scientists and she just wants to burn it all. But there are people she likes. Sort of. She cares to a point where she won't admit it but will react if someone she likes is harmed. It's a confusing place to be for her.

"You're pretty chill about being here." Lucky.

"It's not a bad habit to have." He considers for a second, then offers, "Soldierly, in fact." Michael might like this one, he thinks.

"There is little to be gained from panicking." Better to be calm - besides, with his brothers trapped here as well, doing so would likely end in the destruction of all life in this place. "Especially with others watching."
