I had a dream but I called it a plan
Who: Raphael and ANY ONE.
What: Raphael just arrived, he'skicking the cage looking around.
When: Day 46, all day
Where: Anywhere!
Warnings: Will be updated as needed!
Raphael had toyed with the thing on his wrist for a bit before going outside. Once or twice he attempted to fly passed the edge and ended up stuck there and having to walk back until he could fly again - but he made a map of those areas, and after a few attempts avoided them in favor of the woods, park, and buildings. As he pops in and out, there's a faint sound of thunderclaps and wings beating, but otherwise, nothing to announce him

He regarded her with a look, almost of amusement. "I am Raphael." What other title did he need.

She much preferred the artist.
"Of course, dear," she said.

A rare commodity, these days.
"I'm afraid you're turning to the wrong person for modern turns of phrase," she said. "I'm from 1932. A relic, or so I'm told. Most people here seem to be from the early 2000s."

"Prior to Donnie-" he indicated the body he was wearing "And one particularly stubborn human, I haven't spoken to them in a few thousand years."
no subject
Well...almost.
"Safe to assume that you're from their world?"

A moment of searching later and a small "Ah ha." She held her arm out to Raphael, allowing him to see a video of her beloved Pendragon from their most recent conversation.
"Pendragon?"
no subject
He debated blowing Gabriel's cover. He still might, in fact.

She shrugged. It was the truth, after all. Even if she had a certain motivation behind it.
"How do you know him?"
no subject
"Despite what many believe, there's only a literal handful of beings older than myself - the pagans don't even compare as old compared to the Host."
no subject
Damn thing.
Shoving it into silence once more, she tilted her head. "So where does Pendragon compare to you?"

It wasn't a colour that looked good on her.

She smiled mirthlessly, no light reaching her eyes. "I suppose you might say I'm interested in knowing what sort of monster I may have created."
And she was curious. Incurably curious.

Mina shrugged her shoulders. "Well, I don't suppose I matter that much to you. And the fact that you're trying to 'read' me clearly indicates that you don't trust me." She paused. "But the fact that you would reveal that to me indicates that you're a pragmatic individual. You know that this situation is more complicated than you would like it, which means you're probably looking for...shall we say...alliances. So you tell me: Why should you give out something of great import to a stranger?"
no subject
He didn't confirm or deny that he was looking of alliances, because hadn't made up his mind as to whether or not he needed them. And he didn't trust her - but he trusted few, so it was less a reflection on Mina than it might appear on the surface.
"However you also practice in a field that is my dominion, despite being something which would normally prey on humans, unless you are quite removed from what your species is in my world." He doesn't say 'something' with disdain - he's indicating a species other than 'human' and 'angel', nothing more.
"All that really suggests to me is that I should watch you before deciding whether or not to extend that trust."
no subject
If only she could forget about the kitchen, although, in the long run, that had hardly been her worst encounter.
"I always wanted a patron," she quipped. "You are free to watch me as much as you like. There's little else to do around here. Just...promise to keep your clothing on, darling. I've had quite enough of angelic arses for one lifetime."
no subject
"I didn't say I'd help." Although he might, out of sheer boredom if nothing else. He raised a brow. "I have no reason to disrobe." Not that he really cared one way or the other - besides the fact that Donnie's body wasn't his, he didn't care about human nudity taboos. They always changed - occasionally got amusing.

Although, in her book, Castiel had quite a few qualities that Raphael lacked. Oh well. There was no socializing these...things.

"Where were you off to?"

Privately, Raphael was amused - he was the patron of fishermen as well.
