The Distraction Plan Unveiled
Who: Dilandau Albatou and everyone who wants to participate.
Where: The Woods
When: Day 75
The previous few days have been busy setting up the plan and now it's time to put it into action. It's dawn of the 75th day and Dilandau is at the edge of the woods, eager for the destruction that's going to follow.
"Get into your positions." Is the only order he snaps out. "And when I say run, you run back towards the Time Lord's house as fast as you can."
OOC: Jump in whatever thread you like, have the characters communicate however you wish. Here is the plan of what'll be going down. We can handwave recruitment if nothing's been formally arranged.

Balthazar takes advantage of Brigid's skill, lopping the head clean off the bear she's slashed in the throat, then sending it hurtling into the side of another of the creatures. It's a sign of the bears' lack of self preservation instincts how they keep following, doggedly and without much sign of organization.
Except even that is making Balthazar feel unsettled. Surely an organized foray against these things, even with cover fire, shouldn't have been as big a disaster as Castiel says it was, if they were this uncoordinated then. Brutal, he smashes one of them with a wave of telekinetic angelic power, then takes flight, traveling above the fray briefly to try and see whether more of the beasts are coming.

... Wait. Are there more than before?
One makes to grab at her, and then there are three grabbing at her. Yelping, she jumps straight up into a tree and pants. Except, they're coming up after her.
She eyes the jump to get clear. She can make it. She knows she can. When she jumps, Brigid knows that she's made it. Completely made it.
Slamming into the ground comes as a surprise. As does the crack of something. Choking for a second, she rolls out of the way. No more bears than before, but they're faster than she expected. Brigid almost slips past another, when her arm is grabbed, claws digging into her flesh.

And then he hears the yelp from below. Scanning the heaving metallic shapes, he doesn't spy her until she jumps and lands hard, but then the blaze of her hair is a beacon. He drops, materializing directly on the back of the bear attacking her, and, expressionless, drives his blade into the robot's back. It sparks and shudders, but the claws tear free.

Pushing herself off the ground, her shoulder grinds as she rolls it and it snaps back into the socket. Looking over, she nods in thanks to the angel, knowing it isn't enough, isn't nearly enough, but it's all the time they have for now.
Another bear grabs her, but she roars in it's face and completely changes. Her werewolf features are slimlined and almost delicate. Were she completely able to change into a wolf, she'd be sleek and fast.
Using the bear's arms to brace her she brings up both feet and slams them into the bear, breaking free. She whips around, hair flying.
"Look out!"

Face to face with yet another bear, he brings up the blade. They're learning, through experience, though, and this one's ready for him. The mouth clamps onto his arm, hard enough to crack human bone. But he's not human; it won't hold him for long.

Instead she ends up on a bear's shoulders, trying to use her claws to get at the brainstem. It isn't going well.
Brigid drops to the ground and picks up a rock, tossing it at a small cluster of them. "Hey! Ugly!"
Yes, that's as insulting as she gets. She jumps over a fallen log, and finds herself face to snout with a pissed off bear that almost takes her head off. That had been a little close!

Balthazar smashes two of the bears against one another, flinging raw force at them, then turns and makes a run toward her. "Push through the line, and we'll split up," he orders. "I'll draw off as many as I can."

Her claws flick out and she takes a running jump toward a tree and climbs up. She races out on a limb and jumps to the ground. Then she proves she's completely a sports fan and sticks her fingers in her mouth whistling loudly. The bears turn and start after her.
This time, Brigid sticks to two feet as she runs, dodging the stragglers.

There are some things that make being a werewolf awesome. The healing, the agility, the strength.
Brigid stops for a moment, not wanting to lose her pursuers and takes a deep breath. She's starting to get winded, but she's also not far from the edge of the woods. She'll be fine.
