Tunnel Vision is Not Always Helpful

Who: Martha Jones and Open
When: Day 121
Where: The destroyed clinic and eventually the tunnels
What: Saving medicine

Martha heard the service announcement. She would make her way to the tunnels, after she A) gathered up as much medical supplies as she could carry and B) make her way out of the partially destroyed pharmacy.

So she continued to grab every bit of supplies she could as she packed bags. Somehow she'd figure out a way to carry it all.

"And you didn't try asking nicely?" she inquired. Because their exchange over water had not been all that bad. "I don't know that conflict is always about that. Sometimes people just want to cause as much devastation as possible without any reason."

There's a hint of sadness in her voice as she says it, but she moves on.

"Are you OK to continue walking? Might as well see where these tunnels lead." And she doesn't want to keep Raven at her back right now after a confession like that.

She shrugged in feigned innocence and tossed Martha a less than pleasant smirk when asked if she'd been asking nicely.

"Only idiots fight for nothing," She stated as though Martha should know this. "I'm fine to walk, and I'll be even more fine if we can get out of here."

Her feet had been bare and were cut up and raw from the rocks, but she could only hope that once they were clear of the tunnels her powers would come back and she'd heal. It was worth ignoring the pain for now.

Martha chose to not react to the smirk or the comment about idiots. She'd just file all the information away and keep an eye on this one as they walked.

"Hopefully we're getting close." Martha felt like she'd been walking forever. "Not much more I can tell you other than we gotta keep walking. Keep drinking that water if you can. Better to drink more of it now instead of parsing it out if you're dehydrated."
