Who: the Doctor, the Master, OTA for anyone who wants to witness this hot mess
When: Day 71
Where: Somewhere outside
What:I'm really bored at work. The Doctor is about to meet an old frenemy.
Warning: None yet, will update if need be.
Mina's kitchen was spotless... if one overlooked that there was no toaster or a giant hole where the stove/oven used to be. The Doctor leaned against the counter top, taking a few gulps of water from a glass. It was still a bit too early for her to be awake, but he wanted to surprise her with a visit and even went as far as managing to find a couple wild flowers and stuck them in another glass of water beside him.
He raised his own glass up to take another sip when something akin to a metaphorical tidal wave struck his system, causing him to drop it. Water spilled and a top portion of the glass shattered apart, which didn't even register as his entire body was snapped into a high-alert, eyes wide, listening very closely.
No... He thought to himself, completely in disbelief. He knew that feeling, knew that connection. No, that's impossible! His hearts pounded as he looked around. There was another Time Lord here.
Without another thought, he ran, leaving the door ajar and mess still on the floor. The Doctor simply had to track this down, because everything told him this was completely wrong and simply impossible. Especially when that feeling was all too familiar, indicating someone he knew it couldn't be.
